1. Who are you and what does "smil" mean?
I am Nadja Girod, an accessory designer.I live and work in Berlin and founded smil in 2004.
Smil is the danish word for smile :)
I lived in Denmark a couple of years ago and love the sound of that word!!!
tip: pronounced like in "feel" or "reveal"
2. Do I get the exact pouch that is on the picture?
Depends :)Pocket dolls and calculator pouches are screen printed and look just like on the picture.
Airmail pouches look all different and the pictures are an example what they could look like and a help for choosing stamp patches.
Cosmetic pouches and other pouches made from vintage fabric are unique and the patter of your pouch
can differ from the pattern shown on the pictures.That depends on the pattern repeat too.

3. To which countries do you ship and how much does it cost?
We ship world wide.Shipping costs vary according to your location.
Shipment within Germany is free of charge for orders above 45 Euro. If your order is below 45 Euro Shipping costs 4,50 Euro.
Shipping and handling to the rest of European Union costs 6,- Euro independent of the amount of your order.
To the rest of world we charge 10,- Euro for shipping and handling.
4. How can I pay for my order?
Germany and European Union (EU): You can choose to pay with Paypal, Monybookers or via bank transferWhen you choose to pay via bank transfer we will send you an extra email with our International Bank Account Number (IBAN) after we received your order.
Rest of world: Sorry but at the moment we accept only Paypal or Monybookers payments.
Paypal also accepts checks or credit cards.
We strongly encourage you to use Paypal. Ist easy and fast but if you are not a registered Paypal member in most countries you can only choose to pay with your credit card.
If you do not have a credit card and want to use Paypal it is possible to register at Paypal before you use the payment processing. As a Paypal member you can register your bank account and dont need a credit card to pay!
5. When will I receive my order?
Items usually ship within 2 days after the payment has been made.If the choosen item is out of stock, we will inform you immediately via email.
Please allow 1-3 weeks for your order to arrive, depending on your location.If you ordered more than 3 weeks ago and still haven’t received anything please write us an email to resolve the problem.

6. What is your policy on returns?
At smil.biz we want you to love what you order.If you’re not satisfied with your order please return the items for exchange, refund or credit.
All returns must be in the original condition that you received them in.
In order to process your return, please include your name, email address and receipt along with the items that you are returning.
